Amazing Snacks to Step Up Your Tailgating Game

Whether you’re tailgating in the parking lot before your school’s big game, or watching Sunday Night Football in your apartment, you always need snacks on deck.

We asked residents what their favorite tailgating snack was. Indira Sookdeo at The James responded with chips & dip, a resident from The Tyler said Bratwursts and Yash from The Dillon said Burgers. Other faves include: pizza, sandwiches, and cookies. On average, these tailgating snacks take between 5–30 minutes to prepare.

When it comes to snake-giving vs. snack-taking, almost everyone said that they’re a taker. A resident from The Tyler said, “My friends usually tailgate so I don’t have to worry about packing up a grill or buying food.” A resident from The Dillon added, “Free food always tastes better! We’re broke college students!” Indria and Nathan at The James are givers, though. They both like to prepare foods and try new recipes.
